Next Project: Slingshot Sally
Darell Johnston will attempt to make history this October when he embarks on an adventure across the country in his Twin Engine Slingshot Dragster. "Slingshot Sally" as the car will be known, will be built as a tribute to Darell's grandmother Eileen, a 45-year survivor of breast cancer and mastectomy. Darell plans to complete the dragster by September 30th and will then travel from Charlotte, NC to Las Vegas Nevada the week before the SEMA show. His journey will end at the Las Vegas convention center where Slingshot Sally will be prominently displayed. Along the way, there will be opportunity to cheer Darell on in select cities. Darell's colleagues, friends, and family are 100% behind him to further the mission of Susan G. Komen's Passionately Pink for the Cure campaign by being the first to complete a 2000 mile journey in a street legal TWIN ENGINE dragster!! Stay tuned to learn more about this exciting undertaking!
